Skin Tight Pants
The history of skin tight pants dates back to the 1960s, when the women got emancipated. In those days, tight pants and tight jeans were popular both, amongst young girls and boys. The trend of these pants reined the fashion world for about a decade and slowly faded away in 1970s to give way to flare pants and bell bottom. However, it must be noted that these pants were never considered out of fashion. The 1990s once again saw rising trend of these pants. Tight pants received a huge boost when the iconic pop singer Britney Spears was spotted in very tight pants in her first music release.
The trend of very tight pants
The pants got tighter after the release of Britney’s album. However, some of women who wore very tight pants developed yeast infection while a few of the boys developed problems related to testicles. Some people also developed problems related to nerves in the muscles and had to take bed rest for several weeks. The doctors then, advised people not to wear very tight pants.

Research was done and tight pants were designed to provide comfort to the wearer. Elastane or spandex( commonly known as lycra) is now being added to the skin tight pants. This allows free air circulation to the body, and prevents the problems posed by these pants once upon a time.
