Short skirts have always been fancied by younger women with perfect figure. Women in short mini skirts can melt the strongest of hearts. Send your man’s heart racing by wearing a short leather skirt or wear super short skirts for an ultimate effect on your man. However, you should wear these skirts on the right occasion and in the right style, else, you will end up sending wrong signals about yourself.
Let us have a look at tips for wearing short skirts:
- Occasion: Short skirts look great, but not on all occasions. You can certainly not wear these skirts to work place. Never wear short skirts where your invitation card says ‘black tie’ or ‘white tie’ for dress code.
- Super short skirts should be worn with caution. If you are showing your back while bending, then, you will look obscene. Therefore, when wearing these skirts, wear tights or pantyhose underneath these skirts.
- Wear high heeled boots to create a sophisticated look.
- If you are thin and have a flat back, then you should wear pleated short skirts. The pleats in the skirt will give your back a fuller look.
- Do not forget to get your legs waxed before wearing a really short skirt.
- A short skirt with flare will facilitate ease in walking.
- If you are expected to dance at the party, do not choose very tight short skirt as you may find it difficult to dance.
- In summer, wear gladiator shoes with a short skirt. You can even wear chunky platform heels with these skirts.
- Other accessories include a small size hand purse, chunky earrings and a huge pendant in beads or crystal.
- Denim short skirts can be worn during the day. Wear a white sleeveless blouse with denims.
- If the short skirt is printed, wear plain colored top in solid color. Alternatively, wear a printed blouse with plain skirt.
- If you are keeping your legs bare, then ensure that your legs are clean and apply shimmer on the legs to make them look slim. If you have scars on the legs, hide them by wearing tights.
